USA Water Ski National Junior Teams Announced

USA Water Ski announced the name of young water ski athletes that are included in their National Junior Team. The team members were hand-picked by the American Water Ski Association’s Junior Development Committee and International Activities Committee. Selection was based on the exhibited performance of the young skiers during the 2006 season.

The chosen water skiers that will represent the National Junior Team are Aaron Curmi from Louisville Tennessee; Caroline Hensley from Hixson Tennessee; Ryan Hinkle from Rio Linda, California; Olivia McDonald from Fayetteville, N.C; Taylor Pavur from Santa Fe, Texas, Dakota Peterson from Martindale, Texas; Adam Pickos from Santa Rosa Beach Florida; Haley Runion from McDonald Tennessee; Storm Selsor from Fremont, California; Danielle Shipe from Orlando Florida; Brooks Wilson from Winter Springs Florida; and Zack Worden from Deltona Florida.

These skiers will be competing on the 2007 U.S. Junior Water Ski Team at the U.S. Water Ski Team Trials on July 6-8, 2007 in Okahumpka, Florida. They will also represent the United States at the Can Am Challenge that will be held in September 8-9 in Jerseyville, Illinois.
