USA, Canada & France Teams Bag The Overall Championship Titles

Despite by the domination of European countries in the individual title, the USA team managed to bag the 2007 Overall Team title award based on point percentage. The USA scored 20 more points that made them the official Overall Team champion of the recently concluded 2007 Water Ski World Championships in Austria.

How the USA team made it? Well, the IWSF reported that the slalom strength of the USA is the one that gave them the much needed advantage over FranceĀ  who were stronger in Tricks and Jump in terms of points. France team landed on the second place while Belarus team amazed everybody as they hit the third place of Overall team champion.

On the other hand, Lucine Clementine of France was declared as the 2007 Women World Overall Champion. She was followed by Andriopoulou Angeliki of Great Britain and Thomsen Elena of Switzerland. The 2007 Men World Overall Champion is grabbed by Llewellyn Jaret of Canada. He was followed by Deviatovski Oleg of Belarus and Riva Marco of Italy.
