The Oldest and Most Famous Barefoot Water Skier
I just blog about the 19th Annual Blairfoot Bananza World Barefoot Water Ski Endurance Championships and stumbled upon the name George Blair a.k.a. Banana George who was also tagged as the Ambassador of Barefoot Water Skiing.
I followed the links on the sites I am reading and found out that George Blair holds the record in the Guinness Book of World Records as the oldest barefoot water skier. Pretty cool! Because at the age of 90, he successfully completed barefoot water skiing last February 20, 2005 and proved his mighty endurance and stamina to the world.
Banana George is truly a Water Ski icon all over the world. He started water skiing when he is 40 years old and from then on, he is known as the greatest water ski ambassador because of his goodwill and dedication to promote ski as an ideal sports for everybody.
