Clementine Lucine of France and Freddy Krueger of the USA were awarded by the IWSF World Tournament Council as the 2006 Water Skiers of the Year. Clementine Lucine is this year’s female IWSF skier as she close the season with the number 1 Elite Ranking in Tricks,  landed 2nd in World Cup in both Slalom and Tricks and 3rd in the World Cup Jump. With these huge achievements, Clementine created a new World Overall Record.

Freddy Krueger who was awarded as the 2006 IWSF male skier grabbed all of the 6 Elite events that included the 47th Masters, the US Open and both World Cup stops. Freddy is also the World Cup Jump champion and ended this season with the #1 Elite Jump Ranking.
