The 2006 Cable Skiers Of The Year

The IWSF declared Joulia Meier-Gromyco of Belarus and Andreas Pape of Germany as the 2006 Cable Skiers of the Year. Joulia is currently the top female skier in the Cable Ski as she grabs 3 gold medals for the tricks, jump, and overall at the 2006 World Cable Ski Championships. She also rank in Cableski World and Region EAME as second in tricks, jump and overall. Joulia likewise break the World Tricks record twice and serves as the trainer for the young skiers in Germany and Netherlands.

For the male Cable Skier of 2006, the IWSF has chosen Andreas Pape, also the 2006 World Overall Champion and the skier who got the first position on the World and Region EAME Ranking List. He is also a second placer in jump and fourth placer in slalom. Pape is a well-rounded skier who has always been one of the prides of Germany.
