Scholarship Opportunity For College Level American Water Skiers

— June 26, 2007

I just learned that there is American Water Ski Educational Foundation that provides educational assistance to their college level members. The foundation runs an annual scholarship program and they give $1500 scholarship money to each six young water skiers every year.

This only proves that water skiing does not only aim to provide a wholesome sport and recreation to our young generation as they also have a specific foundation that upholds the value of education. And take note, the scholarship is not based on the level of water skiing skill but on the academic grades and financial needs.

It is indeed nice to know that the people behind the USA Water Ski exert effort and allot some of their fundings to the welfare of young water skiers.
