NWSRA Changed Their Racing Rules

— February 13, 2008

It came to my knowledge that the National Water Ski Racing Association (NWSRA),  a division of USA Water Ski did some modifications on their racing regulations starting this year, 2008. Some of the changes include their price structure.

From now on, the Main Marathon entry has been reduced to $90 per team, per race, per day; and if any skier pays fro 2 main marathon events, he or she will receive one free entry in circle race class which is equivalent to $30 per team per class.

NWSRA also announced that the Mini Marathons are now available to all skiers except to skiers who are classified as Open Class. Open Class skiers on the other hand, n the Mini Marathon with a non-open class skier in the double-up class.

There are other changes or modification in class and event format. To read the complete changes in the NWSRA racing rules, please visit this page.
