Lumley, Haig 2006 Racing Skiers Of The Year

The IWSF Council has chosen Kim Lumley of Great Britain as their female ski racer and Todd Haig of United States as their male ski race of the year. Kim Lumley, who is only 24 year old, was a consistent representative of her country for the last nine years in every IWSF World Championship event. Lumley is likewise the 2006 Australia’s Sydney Bridge to Bridge champion. She has been a consistent winner in Diamond Race and America’s Catalina Race.

Todd Haig is another young skier who had proven a total race domination as he grabbed his first World Title last 2005. And this year, Haig started the season by winning the Parker International Marathons, US Marathon circuit and Catalina Race. He is likewise named as the Male Athlete of the Year by the America’s National Water Ski Racing Association.
