Great Britain Team Bags The World Disabled Championship Title

Great Britain Team is declared the overall champion for the second consecutive time on the recently concluded 8th World Disabled Water Ski Championships that took place on May 14-20, 2007 at Thuringowa Riverway parkland in North Queensland, Australia. The Great Britain accumulated a total score of 14013.86 and followed by Australia team and United States team. The score difference of Australia from United States is only 39.71, a very close overall standing.

The said event is participated by disabled/handicapped water skiers from 15 countries such as Great Britain, Australia, United States, Italy, France, Switzerland, Canada, Ireland, Germany, Mexico, Denmark, Netherlands, South Africa, Norway and Brazil. The skiers competed in different men and ladies categories in slalom, tricks, jump.
