General Lascelles Memorial Grants For Young Water Skiers

The General Lascelles Memorial Grants currently offer around 5 major grants of £1250 and additional 5 or 6 minor grants of £400 per year per athlete. This grant aims to help highly talented young athletes from any recognized sporting division of British Water Ski to become achievers and win medals at European and World Championships.

The memorial grant is open to all British citizen water skiers who are below 18 years of age as of 1st January 2010 and currently an active competitor and license holder in a recognized sports division of British Water Ski. The awardee will be carefully screened and chosen by five guardians who have been appointed to select athletes from the applications received.

The General Lascelles Memorial Grants are awarded to an athlete for a maximum of two years provided that the young athlete performed well on his or her first year of grant.
