In fact, both children and disabled or handicapped can do water skiing. Whatever your disability may be, you can always do water ski and even participate in water ski tournament. You disability will never be a hindrance to enjoy this sports to the fullest.

I know several groups that specialize in helping disabled or handicapped people to get into water ski sports. These organizations are also commissioned to promote, encourages and provide support for all disabled person to have quality recreational activities.

The British Disabled Water Ski Association is another support group that can assist disabled people to learn water skiing. The National Ability Center in Utah US and Disabled Sports USA Far West are likewise some of the organizations that promote and up lift people with disability to learn and enjoy water skiing.
