British Water Skiers Finished The Season With Flying Colors

— December 2, 2008

That’s right! As the water skiing season ended this December, British water skiers ended 2008 with great achievements:

  • Jodi Fisher won the 2008 World Cup title from his slalom performances in the 2008 World Cup season in Malaysia and Doha
  • Will Asher tops in both Elite and Performance based lists and produced the best score in the World in 2008 with 1 buoy on the 9.75m slalom line
  • Sarah Green won the slalom titles while Nicole got the silver and also added the World Under 21 title to her World Open gold
  • Jason Seels grabbed the Overall title
  • Jason Seels, Tom Asher and Damien Sharman’s total domination of the jump podium during the 2008 European Championships

These will definitely give more hope and confidence for the 2009 biennial World Championships which will be held in Calgary, Canada.

Meanwhile, for those of you who were not able to watch the 25th World Cup Stop in Putrajaya Malaysia, you can watch the TV Special of non-stop action water skiing stunts on the following schedules:
