Belgium To Host 2009 World Water Ski Racing Championships

The 16th World Water Ski Racing Championships will be held again in the beautiful country of Belgium come July 18 to July 26 of this year.  This will be Belgium’s second time to host one of the biggest water ski racing event in the world.

The 2009 World Water Ski Racing Championship will be held in four different cities across the Flemish side of Belgium: Gent on July 19, Genk on July 21, Antwerpen on July 24 and Viersel on July 26. Participants will race use different style in each day of the race.

The Opening Ceremony will be held on Saturday, July 18 in Gent. A parade-march will go through the town center after the opening ceremony.   The Caravan & Camper Registration will be held at Viersel Water Ski Club Headquarters. The end date for entry registration is on June 22, 2009.
