Australia Grabs The Overall World Racing Championships Title

Australian race skiers dominated the recently concluded 2007 World Racing Championships that was held last May 12 to 19 in Rotorua, New Zealand. They got the titles for Formula 1 Ladies, Formula 2 Ladies, Junior Girls, Formula 1 Men and Formula 2 Men making them the overall 2007 World Racing Champions.

USA water skiers on the other hand landed second in Formula 2 Ladies, Formula 1 Men and Formula 2 Men categories making them grab the second overall World Racing Championship standing.  USA was followed by New Zealand in team trophy standing.

Other countries that participated in the 2007 World Racing event were Great Britain who also won the second place in Formula 1 Ladies; Belgium; Netherland; Spain; and Austria. The final summary result can be seen here. And to view the complete results of the race, please click here.
