Analyze Your Own Water Skiing Skills Through Dartfish

— July 3, 2007

It is now possible for water skiers especially those who do slalom and jumps to track their skiing moves with Dartfish Video Software Solution. Dartfish is a software that is capable of recording and analyzing your own skiing video. This tool offers an opportunity for water skiers to track and improve their skiing technique by using this advanced computer software package which is especially designed for sports.

The live image of the skier’s moves are fed directly to a video camera going to the computer where it compares the footage and enable it to be played back to the actual speed or slowed down frame by frame. Further more, the software also has a kit called strain gauge that can be connected to the program to view the loads you are creating and where these loads are taking place.

To try this one of a kind skiing tool, water skiers can visit the National Site based in Thorpe. For just £30, a skier can get his or her 15-minute slot to ski that is inclusive of the 15-minute Dartfish run through and a CDROM of your day’s progress.
