— November 23, 2007

Winter will soon come and it will also means off-season for water skiing activities for some parts in the world. But professional water skiers do not just let the winter passed by hibernating because they knew the importance of continuous training and exercise in their water skiing performance.

In short, they still train and keep their muscles going by engaging to alternative water skiing activities. Some examples of fun, relaxing and yet highly effective activity for water skiers during winter are snow skiing, mountain biking, yoga and going to the gym.

As you see, skiers especially those who regularly join tournaments or competition need to maintain their muscle endurance and stamina no matter what season of the year. Even if they are off-water, they still engage in activities that will shape-up the muscle groups that are important in water skiing.

Learn more about the off-season activities of famous water skiers such as Chris Rossi, Terry Winter and Natalie Hamrick here.
