2009 World Water Ski Championship To Be Held in Calgary
The 2009 World Water Ski Championship Festival come this August 3 to August 9 will be held in Calgary Alberta Canada. Being the country with numerous well-known water skiers such as Jaret Llewellyn, Drew Ross, Breanne Wagner, Susi Graham and Whitney McClintock; and having garnered over than 50 medals in world competition, wherein 19 of them are gold, it is guaranteed that this upcoming event will show top caliber competitions.
And this coming August 3, 2009, Canada is will proudly host the championship at Lakes of KastynStone, one of the best man-made water ski sites in the world. This ski resort is located in a natural valley the site features two crystal clear lakes that are protected from heavy winds and boat traffic.
This year’s Canada team for the World Water Ski Championship will be lead by Jaret Llewellyn from Innisfail, Alberta who is currently the defending World Overall Champion and is one of the greatest skiers in the history of the sport.
