2008 World University Water Ski Championship Was Set In Beijing

Beijing China which is the home for the 2008 Olympic Games was likewise chosen by the FISU Executive Committee and the IWSF as the venue for the 2008 World University Water Ski Championship. This event is expected to be one of the biggest water skiing events as it will be held to the same city where Olympic Games will take place.

The World University Water Ski Championships is being participated by more than 9000 water skiers by approximately 90 countries around the world.  China has already hosted the World Water Ski Championships last year at their breathtaking man-made lake at Tianjin. This successful event made them the perfect location for the 2008 World University Water Ski Championships.
