2008 Water Ski World Cup Stop Is Now On In Malaysia

The 2008 Water Ski World Cup Stop is now happening in Putrajaya Malaysia. It started yesterday November 7 and will run until tomorrow November 9, 2008. This is first time gathering of world’s best in water skiers in Putrajaya as they host the 25th Water Ski World Cup. Putrajaya is located near Kuala Lumpur and is surrounded by superb planned city and in Malaysia.

The countries who are participating in the 2008 Water Ski World Cup are Canada, Denmark, France, Great Britain, Greece, USA, Italy, New Zealand, Argentina, Colombia, Belarus, Belgium, Mexico and Switzerland. On the other hand, China, Russia, India, Korea, Indonesia and Australia also sent special delegates for this water skiing event.

This World Cup Stop features Slalom, Shortboard and Jump. What makes World Cup different from other tournament is that only the highest ranked IWSF athletes in the world are qualified to join here and in each discipline, only 12 Men and 8 Women have been selected to take part.
