2007 Barefoot Nationals To Be Held In Wisconsin

The 2007 Barefoot Water Ski National Championships which will also marked its 30th annual championship will be held this year at the Blue Moo in Black River Falls, Wisconsin.

The said championship that is expected to be participated by over 150 barefoot water skiers is set on August 13 up to August 18. There will be 24 divisions that will compete for national titles in wake slalom, tricks and jumping. Barefoot water skiers that will join to all three events can be qualified to win the overall title.

Among the highlights of the 2007 Barefoot National Championship are the wake slalom event that is comprised of water skiers crossing the boat wake as frequent as possible in two 15-second passes; tricks skiers who will exhibit as many tricks as possible in two 15-second passes; and jumpers who will be given three attempts each to go for distance while leaping off an 18-inch ramp.
